Principal's Corner

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”  ~-Brian Tracy

November is one of my favorite months of the year.  It is a reason to reflect and give thanks. We thank you for sending us your very best.

This month we pay special tribute to Veterans everywhere.  The Principal’s Pick of The Month, America’s White Table by Margot Theis Raven. This book tells the significance of “the white table” set in many mess halls as a symbol for and remembrance to service members fallen, missing, or held captive in the line of duty. No one ever sits at this table.  In this story, Katie and her sisters, are asked to help set the white table for dinner as a special gift to their Uncle John. As their mother explains the significance of each item placed on the table, Katie comes to understand and appreciate the depth of sacrifice that her uncle, and each member of the Armed Forces and their families, may be called to give. – a small gift  for such important service, I truly hope that you enjoy this month’s pick.
